Journos Have Internet Blocked - And They're Shocked?

I can't remember if it was BBC or ITV news the other night that commented on some sites being blocked in China. But the reporter showed that some sites were blocked or redirected in China. So what? The report didn't show that the Chinese government had blocked any sites necessary for their job!!

The sites that they showed were blocked were the Amnesty one and some extreme cult in China. I'm sorry but that doesn't stop you reporting on the OLYMPIC GAMES!

The difference between the Chinese government and the British one is that at least the Chinese are open and upfront about the content they don't want you to see. This government just tracks your every movement online and will be sneaky about it all.

We criticise the Chinese government, but who are we to talk about individual human rights where the government has a right to enter you home at will and take photos. Your calls are monitored, your emails read. You're tracked 24/7.

And the press - pure hyprocrites. They talk about freedoms, but what our freedom to privacy? They follow people around take photos into their homes from accross the street, they sneak cameras in to people's bedrooms to take photos of things that have nothing to do with them and the general public, so give me a break!

This is the Olympics so report on the events!
