one of my greatest passions is playing softball. i have played competitive fast-pitch softball since i was 8 years old, and never stopped playing, until my sophomore year of college when i developed chronic compartment syndrome in my shins (chronic shin splints) and had to have surgeries on both of my shins. because i would never play at 100% again, the doctors and coaches decided it was time to hang up the glove! that was very hard to hear…especially since my dream was to one day play in the ...
